Nannies
What is a Nanny?
A Nanny is a childcare specialist who works directly for a family in their home continually on a regular basis. A nanny is a household employee, not an independent contractor. By providing one on one attention, a nanny gives the best possible care to the Family’s children. Duties may include tending to each child’s physical needs, planning and preparing meals, laundering children’s clothes, organizing play activities and outings, providing intellectual stimulation such as reading books, learning numbers, or helping with homework, working on language skills and providing transportation when needed. A nanny must be able to communicate well with both parent and child. The Nanny Boutique places full time, part time and temporary nannies. We also offer Nanny Hiring Consultations for families looking to find, interview and hire a nanny on their own. For more information on this service please click here.
